Dan and Rikki Lee

This was likely one of the chilliest days we've had in awhile! The wind was absolutely insane. Rikki was one tough bride. The whole time she was like "it will be worth it when I see the pictures!" Sure will be!! I love the shot below with her holding her dress down. Totally Marilyn Monroe style....so cute.
So glad I got to meet you and spend a couple hours of your big day celebrating with you.

Sarah, Kayley and Meghan

This was a treat from Grandma Kathryn Anne!! She wanted to surprise her daughter with some shots of the three of them for christmas. Absolutely beautiful girls. I'm sure there is never a dull moment with these three around! What a gift to have such great sisters to grow up with!

Leah and Danielle

Leah is one of those friends that though life changes, you move to different locations and so much happens between seeing each other....you always connect again just as beautifully as before.
She came to visit me and spend some time relaxing before her second little one is born. It felt so great to have her here. It's always a treat. Wish it happened more often, but I know that next time it will be just as great.
Love you Lee.

Joanna and Travis

This bright sunny morning we woke up to white frost covering all the trees and tall grass. So we had to take advantage of that for sure! Joanna and Travis are celebrating their 10 years together. That is definitely something to be excited about!
Great meeting you both. All the best with your schooling Joanna.

Ethan and Peyton

This little girl has the most beautiful eyelashes! I'm so jealous:) I haven't seen Peyton for about a year now...it's amazing how fast they change when they are so little. I did her newborn pictures last year before christmas and now here she is walking, playing with her big brother and developing such a cute personality. Ethan, you are one good big brother! She is a lucky little girl to have a big brother like you to look after her and play with her.

Joel, Ashlee and little one growing inside!

It's always an honor when a couple has me do their wedding and then calls me back for their first one on the way. Ashlee and Joel, you are always so much fun to take photos of. I love watching you interact and see how you're even more so in love today than the day of your wedding. Ashlee you are such a beautiful pregnant lady! Your face just glows! Great spending time with you again. Can't wait to meet the little one.

Ryan, Nicole and Harrison

For it being the middle of November in Winnipeg we are having an absolutley incredible fall. All this little guy needed was a little sweat jacket. Thats unheard of!! We headed to Fort Whyte Center for their pictures. What a neat place. I had never been there before but will definitely be going back. Nicole wanted something outdoorsy and natural....perfect spot for that.
Great to meet you and your family Nicole. Loved the rubbers!

Steve, Erika and Kadie

This little gal had sooo much personality. I loved just following her around and capturing her great little expressions! She enjoyed every minute of running out in the bush...playing with bubbles and pretend talking on her aunt's cell phone. These were her second birthday pictures! I think we were able to capture her beautiful spirit!!

Vancouver

Hey all my blog readers! I was just out in Vancouver training under RAD studio. They are amazing photographers and absolutely wonderful people. I had two days of intense photography and business training with them. There is always so much we can learn from other people. Rad studio is a husband and wife team that is very successful and gifted at what they do. I felt so priviledged to go and spend a few days with them. I left with more focus, more experience and new fun ideas to try out! I can't wait to start implementing some of these things. You'll start to see a few differences in how I do things. I'm excited to have fresh vision for photography by Jodi. And all of you will definitely reap some of the benefits!
After my training I was able to hang out with some fantastic old friends. That in itself is refreshing....then add mountains and hiking and being outdoors and it's a whole new ballgame. I love getting away and being in nature. It's always so refreshing to be in and amongst God's creation! It was hard driving away and seeing the mountains disappear.....however I know that next time I go they will be there!
